Internships at Sweetwater are full-time positions, 40 hours a week, and paid. We also provide Sweetwater interns with various outings and networking opportunities around Fort Wayne for a fantastic, well-rounded experience!
When should I apply?
You should apply 3–6 months in advance because internships fill up very quickly!
Can I get school credit for my internship?
Yes! We can usually ensure you get as many hours as you need to qualify, depending on the requirements of your college or university. We can absolutely complete the required paperwork for your school.
Are there dorms or places to stay if I’m not from the Fort Wayne area?
We partner with local universities to offer discounted housing to out of town interns. Many interns stay with local friends or relatives. Please take this expense into consideration before you apply!
Do interns ever get hired by Sweetwater as employees?
Yes, a LOT of them! Interns have the unique opportunity to experience life inside Sweetwater and figure out if this is the place for them. Positions after graduation are never guaranteed, but here’s your chance to prove the quality of your skills, character, and work ethic.
Is there a dress code?
You bet! Dress codes vary by department, but the typical standard is professional business casual.
